11 April, 2025 at BHARGAVA RESIDENCY HOTEL for passing out students of 6 th
semester senior students as they move on to new opportunities.
The party was started with welcome by the senior faculty of the College Sh. Dalbir
Singh Followed by the different talents presented by the students.
In the last awards were given to the winners of different performance showed by
students.
Bhargava group of colleges Samba organise a grand rally on the occasion of World Health Day on 7th of April World Health Day is observed annually on 7th April to raise awareness about Global Health challenges established by the World Health Organisation WHO in 1950.
This day emphasis the importance of Health and wellbeing. The rally was flag of jointly by the principal of Bhargava Degree College Samba Dr. Natar Singh and principal of Bhargava B. Ed. Samba Dr. PK Dhar.
The rally started from the college gate comprises students of Bhargava Paramedical Institute, Bhargava Degree College and Bhargava B.Ed college jointly chatting slogan and holding banners and posters of different size deprecating the importance of exercise yoga and healthy diet and clean and green environment for healthy and prosperous life.
The rally after covering the distance about 2 kilometres and finally reached at district hospital Samba .Where Students of the college Express their views about this particular day and also caution the general public about the healthy related challenges and problem the Global world is facing today.
RDGDMT Institute of Paramedical Sciences Celebrates World Health Day with Awareness Rally and Community Engagement
Samba, April 7, 2025 — RDGDMT Institute of Paramedical Sciences, a unit of Bhargava Group of Colleges, Samba, celebrated World Health Day with great zeal and commitment toward promoting public health awareness. The event brought together students and faculty members in a meaningful initiative aimed at educating the community on the importance of good health and preventive care.
As part of the celebration, a rally was organized starting from the college campus and concluding at the District Hospital Samba. Participants carried vibrant banners, placards, and raised slogans that echoed the message of this year’s World Health Day theme. The rally drew the attention of locals and passersby, making it an impactful community outreach effort.
Principal Dr. Nater Singh highlighted the importance of such activities in shaping socially responsible healthcare professionals and appreciated the collective efforts of the students and staff. “Health awareness is the first step toward a healthier society, and it’s encouraging to see our students taking the lead,” the principal said.
This successful celebration once again demonstrated the institute’s commitment to health education and community service
An awareness cum motivation lecture was organised by the team of experts from kartavya IAS academy in our college today. 1st of April 2025 the team lead by MD of the said academy Mr Dinesh Choudhary and Yogesh kumar (manager of this academy) delivered a detailed lecture to our students and aware them about the tips and skills required to prepare for UPSC SSC and other state and national level competitive examinations .The Students of the college also learned their doubts by asking number of questions which the expert responsed with positivity and satisfied each student with elaborated responses.

On 8 th of March, 2025, International Women’s Day is celebrated by
Teachers and Students of Bhargava Degree College Samba. The Programme
was started by the inaugural address of Vice Principal Prof. Dalbir Singh.
Students of Sem 2 nd Palak Mansotra, Sonalika Lakshita and Naveen
Participated and expressed their views on the importance of this day. The
programme was concluded by a mesmerizing Dogri song by Assistant Prof
Kaushal Singh.
An Awareness Programme was organized by the team of Expert headed by Inspector Ravi Kant, Incharge Cyber cell, District Police Samba on 24-01-2025 in our college, while delivering awareness lecturer Ravi Kant informed the students about the Introduction of New Law Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) to protect the general masses against Cyber Fraud, Cyber Crime and other related heinous crimes undertaken by the fraudster to loot and blackmail the innocent masses.
On 25-12-2024, Bhargava Degree College samba organized a Grand
Picnic at Patnitop, a picturesque hill station known for its natural
beauty and pleasant weather. The students have enjoyed a joyful and
fantastic trip.
Today on 10 th of Dec, 2024, An Awareness Program on “WORLD HUMAN RIGHT DAY” was organized by
the office of District legal services authority samba in Bhargava Degree College . On this day, Sh.
Sandeep Singh Sen, Secretary Sub-judge DLSA Samba, along with his team of legal expert visited at our
college and delivered a detailed lectures about the various aspects of World Human Right Day and
provided various kinds of knowledge and information to awaken the Young minds of our students.
Two students of our college namely Sonalika Sharma and Palak Mansotra also expressed their thoughts
about Human Rights Day.
Four students of Bhargava Degree College participated in Display Your Talent Programme organized by Kathua Campus, University of Jammu, Janglote Kathua.
1. Komal Devi of BA sem 3rd got 2nd Prize in Rangoli Competition.
Neha Devi, Ansh Jasrotia, Suraksha also participated in the several programmes.
An awareness Program on National Education Day was organized by the office of the District Legal Services Authority, Samba. in collaboration with our college on 11-11-2024.
The visitors who delivered lecture on the above said Topic were:

The Diya Making, Bucket Painting & Rangoli competition held among the Students of Bhargava Degree College on 28th of October 2024, was a vibrant event, showcasing the creativity and talent of around 16 participating students. Khushbu Bhagat form Bhargava Degree College Samba (Sem 3rd) clinched the first position with her stunning designs in Diya Making, while Muskaan & group from Bhargava Degree College Samba (Sem 5th) secured the First position with her impressive artistry in Rangoli. While Kashish Bhagat form Bhargava Degree College Samba (Sem 3rd) clinched the first position with her stunning designs in Bucket Painting. Participants were honored with momentos and appreciation certificates presented by the Principal Dr. Nater Singh, celebrating their hard work and dedication. The event fostered a spirit of friendly competition and camaraderie among the participants, highlighting the artistic skills within the institutions.
The Mehandi and Nail Art competition held between Bhargava Degree College Samba and R.D.G.D. Paramedical Institute Samba on 19th of October 2024, was a vibrant event, showcasing the creativity and talent of around 50 participating students. Riya Guleria form Bhargava Degree College Samba clinched the first position with her stunning designs in Mehandi, while Sakshi from R.D.G.D. Paramedical Institute Samba secured the second position with her impressive artistry in Mehandi. While Nandini Salathia & Lakshita form Bhargava Degree College Samba clinched the first & Second position with their stunning designs in Nail Art.

NCC Cadets along with other students of Bhargava Degree College Samba attended the workshop on the role of ECO Task Forces in nation Building held on 9th of October, 2024 at Samba Auditorium. The said workshop was conducted by 129-Inf Bn (TA) ECO JAK LI C/o 56 APO.

World Red Cross Day was celebrated at Bhargava Degree College, Samba.
During this, District Social Welfare Department Officer and Executive Secretary of District Red Cross Society Shri Nawab Sharif arrived as the chief guest. This program was organized by the District Management Committee of Red Cross Society in collaboration with the Distt Administration in which Vinod Kumar, Rajneesh, Sanjay, Mukesh, Manish, Sapna etc. were present from the committee side. College Principal Dr. Nater Singh presided over the function.In this occassion Principal Dr. Suresh Pandita,Dr. Dhar,Gaurav,and a large of college children and college staff was also present.During this children from different departments presented their views on Red Cross Day.

The aim of World Red Cross Day is to aid the helpless and injured: Nawab Sharif.
Samba: World Red Cross Day was celebrated at Bhargava Degree College, Samba. District Social Welfare Department officials and Executive Secretary of District Red Cross Society, Mr. Nawab Sharif, attended as the chief guest. This event was jointly organized with the District Management Committee of Red Cross Society, with Vinod Kumar, Rajneesh, Sanjay, Mukesh, Manish, Sapna, and others from the committee present. The program was chaired by the college's Principal, Dr. Netra Singh.
During this event, children from various departments of the college shared their thoughts on Red Cross Day. Chief guest Nawab Sharif mentioned in his address that the main objective of Red Cross Day is to protect helpless and injured soldiers and civilians. It is an international organization headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.
He explained that World Red Cross Day was established on May 8, 1948, commemorating the birth anniversary of Henry Dunant, the founder of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the first Nobel Peace Prize laureate. This day serves as a platform to raise awareness about the principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and to celebrate their humanitarian work worldwide. Principal Dr. Suresh Pandita, Dr. Dhar, Gaurav, Darshan, Avinash, Rishpal, along with a large number of college students and staff, were also present on this occasion."
