To uplift the status of higher level of education in Samba, Jammu, the chairman of Smt. Rattna Devi Gopal Dass Memorial Trust, Late Shri Prakash Sharma established Bhargava Degree College in the year 2001. The college was established with the basic aim to provide college education to the students of this region. The college providespecial incentives to such students i.e below under poverty line by way of relaxation of admission fee/tuition fee financial aid and also provide free books. The students can take admission in the B.Sc Medical and Non-medical and the Arts Streams under the various subject’s combinations as offered by the University of Jammu.
